Feature Overview
The Sample node outputs a subset of records from the data entering it. The user determines the number of records to be output and the method of their selection. There are five different sampling methods:
- Random - Takes a random (n) record selection
- Top - Chooses the top (n) records
- Bottom - Chooses the bottom (n) records
- Skip Top (n) Rows - Skips (n) records from the top
- Range (From/To) - Selects a range of values
