The Edify OAuth2 integration allows you to write data directly from Construct to an Edify intake schema using the Output node. Once configured, the OAuth2 Edify integration can be reused across jobs and workflows, making it easy to deliver to or refresh data in Edify. This article walks through steps to set up the OAuth2 integration between Construct and Edify.
Create the Construct Application in Edify
- In Edify, go to User Profile > OAuth2 Applications.
- Select Create Application.
- For Template Type, select Construct Integration.
- Update the application Name if desired, or leave the default name as Construct Application.
- Leave the remaining fields as they are, then select Save.
- Copy the Client ID and Client Secret.
Important: The Client Secret is only visible at this point. Save it somewhere secure before leaving this screen. If you do not save the Client Secret, you will need to delete the application and create a new one.
Add the Edify OAuth2 Configuration in Construct
- In Construct, go to Tools > Options > Edify OAuth2.
- Select the blue plus sign to add a new Edify integration.
- In the Edify Site Base URL field, enter your Edify site URL.
- This should be the same URL you use to log in to Edify, such as:
https://edify.edh.eab.com - Do not enter the Authorization URL or Redirect URL shown in Edify when creating the Construct Application.
- This should be the same URL you use to log in to Edify, such as:
