About: This article introduces the Call Job node, a Special node within Construct.
Location: Node panel
Table of Contents
Feature Overview
The Call Job node passes parameters to and runs another Construct job which is selected in the Job Name field. The Options menu offers additional features if the job fails to run.
- Report Called Job Failure: If the job being called fails, the error will be reported in the calling job. The calling job will continue to run (if it can) despite the called job error.
- Stop Job If Called Job Fails: This will run the job being called, however if the job being called fails, the calling job will not run.
If you are using the Construct Pro scheduler, and the called job fails while the Stop Job If Called Job Fails option is selected, the error will direct you to investigate the scheduler details. For more details on the Construct Pro please reach out to RI-Support@eab.com
Note: Only a saved version of the selected job will run.
The Set Run Order tool may be used to determine when this node is run.
