Feature Overview
The Timer node allows users the ability to track the time it takes a node to process data. This is done by placing the Timer node after the node you wish to track the run time of. For large jobs that take a noticeable amount of time to run, this feature can help track job run times. The Timer node can be placed anywhere in the job. Use cases for this node could be to track the performance of job run time in order to better optimize it. Or to track specific sections of the job that could take more time to run, like a Cache node or Merge node. Lastly, multiple Timer nodes can be used and connected in unison into a report.
To configure this node, simply enter the name you would like to give it the timer. This name will show when the Timer node is run to an output, or is part of a report.
