Feature Overview
The Trash node is an output node that does not write data that runs through it. Rather, it directs the workflow to an unsaved output location. This allows the user to have a functioning job (a job with inputs, a process, and an output) but eliminates any need to write the jobs results to a file extract. This can be useful when a branch of the job’s workflow is not needed, even as a temporary file.
In the example below, the trash node is being used to run a job with the purpose of pushing the cleaned data through the Proxy Out node and into a Subroutine. In this example, the Trash Node is necessary to allow the job to run.
