Location: Node panel
Table of Contents
Feature Overview
The Bridge node is an output node that allows users to publish content to Bridge, which is Rapid Insight's cloud based data exploration and reporting platform. A Bridge account is needed to access data that is published through this node. If you do not have a Bridge account and are interested in learning more about the tool, please reach out to RI-Support@eab.com.
When data is run to a Bridge output node, the data is pushed from the node to the user's Bridge account where it can then be explored and shared with other Bridge users.
Configuring the Bridge node simply requires entering a Dataset Name which will be the name of the dataset in the user's Bridge account once the job is run. The Bridge node configuration window also allows users select or remove columns from the output using the Output check boxes. Users can also re-order columns using the black Up/Down arrows.
Tip: Selecting the overwrite check box will refresh a dataset that has already been uploaded to Bridge with the same name. If the overwrite check box is not selected and a dataset with the same name is uploaded it will show up as a new version with a number appended to the end of the dataset name to distinguish it from the existing dataset(s). Example: Fall 2021 Retention (2)
Linking Construct to your Bridge Account
In order for Construct to know which account to upload the dataset to when a Bridge node is used, users must link Construct to their Bridge account. This is done in the Tools > Options > Reporting setting from the main toolbar. The required credentials are the same Email Address and Password that are used when logging into Bridge.
