About: This article introduces the Temp Report node, an Output node within Construct.
Location: Node panel
Table of Contents
Feature Overview
The Temp Report node offers users a quick way to see their report outputs without having to create and save a permanent file on their machine. This node is not editable and does not require any configuration. The Temp Report node automatically creates a temporary .mht file called TempReport.mht that is written in a default program location, and gets overwritten each time a process is run to a Temp Report node.
Using the Temp Report node during early stages of drafting reports allows users to avoid needlessly adding output files to their file system which can become confusing, until they are ready to save the final version permanently.
Note: The default location can be changed by going to Tools > Options > General and updating the Temp Output Node Location file path.
