Introduction

The Construct Pro and Construct Enterprise versions are unique in their programing in that they are both configured to run as Windows Services in the background of the machine they are installed on. This allows them to automate jobs on a schedule built into the product. At times it may be necessary to stop and start the program service.

Important: The Construct Pro and Construct Enterprise programs will not open, nor will any scheduled jobs run if the program service is stopped.

Accessing the Program Service

1. Open your Services Desktop Application: You can do this by using the Windows Start Menu search option.
2. Scroll down to Construct Pro or Construct Enterprise.
3. Right-click to see the Stop/Restart option or use the icons on the top toolbar of the window interface.

Note: For Enterprise edition, the Program Service will only be visible/running on the server machine.
