Introduction
When you open the Construct application, you will see three options:
- Open a Sample Job: Select this option if you wish to open a pre-created data workflow with a sample dataset.
- Start Working with Your Data: Select this option if you wish to start a new job with your own datasets. The video tutorial linked below walks through an example.
- Watch Video Tutorials: Select this option if you wish to view video tutorials regarding use of Construct.
Features
Construct includes several features to support your work. Click on each feature name to view a detailed article with more information.
- Workspace Tab: This tab automatically opens when the program first starts. It serves as the place where users organize and manage data projects, data source connection, and see what jobs might currently be running.
- Job Tab: This tab is where users can build, edit, and view a data workflow or "job".
- Data View Tab: This tab displays a sample of the data records from the file currently selected.
- Main Toolbar: The toolbar includes various features that can support your analysis as well as provide useful links to help articles.
