Logging in to Bridge now requires multi-factor authentication (MFA). This extra layer of protection helps safeguard against common cyber threats, ensuring you can trust the safety of your data!
Setting Up Your MFA Account
The first step of logging in to Bridge is the same - simply enter your username and password at bridge.rapidinsight.com.
Once you select Log In, if your MFA account has not been created yet, you will be prompted to scan a QR code to set up your account.
Use your authenticator app (we recommend Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator) to scan the QR code which will generate a 6-digit one-time passcode. Enter the passcode and click the arrow to continue.
If you are not using an authenticator on a mobile device or device with a camera, select the Trouble Scanning? link just below the QR code. This will lead you to a unique code that you can manually add to your authenticator app to generate the one-time passcode.
And that's it! Your MFA account is now set up. Next time you log into Bridge you will enter your username and password, and then be brought directly to the prompt for the one-time passcode.
Resetting Your MFA Account
If you ever lose access to your one-time passcode, such as if you switch phones, or start using a different authenticator app, your account can be reset to allow you to regain access. Users who are Organization Admins in Bridge, have the ability to reset MFA accounts on behalf of other users within their organization.
Tip: If you aren't sure who your Bridge Admin is, reach out to RI-Support@eab.com and we can reset your account for you!
If you are an Organization Admin, log into Bridge and go to the Admin page. On the Users tab, search for the user who's account you need to reset. Then simply select the orange key icon to the left of the user's name.
You will be asked if you are sure that you want to reset MFA for the user. Select Reset-MFA if yes.
Once you select Reset-MFA, the user can login to Bridge and will be returned to the authenticator set up screen.
