About: The Rapid Insight Virtual User Event (RIVUE) brought together data and analytics professionals from across the partnership for a half-day of learning, collaboration, and practical insight. Designed to support both new and experienced users, the event focused on three core goals: elevating product fluency through real partner stories, exploring new ways to innovate with the Rapid Insight platform, and celebrating the collective wins of the Rapid Insight community.

Partner Showcase

RIVUE featured a powerful lineup of partner-led presentations showcasing how institutions are using Rapid Insight to solve complex, real-world challenges. Presenters from Fairfield University, Lipscomb University, Rowan University, Yale University, and the University of West Alabama shared candid stories spanning SIS transitions, automated state reporting, modular job design, and the creation of scalable analytics ecosystems. Across sessions, a common theme emerged: institutions are moving beyond one-off reporting solutions toward repeatable, transparent workflows that empower broader campus audiences.

Construct Deep Dive: The Transform Node
 

The technical centerpiece of RIVUE was a deep dive into one of Construct’s most versatile tools: the Transform node. This session demystified how a single node can be used to reshape data in powerful ways, like: 

• Creating new fields
• Flagging conditions
• Categorizing values
• Performing common calculations without overwriting source data. 

Attendees explored when to use IF statements versus binning functions, how to handle exceptions and NULL values, and best practices for keeping logic clear and scalable. Through concrete examples and live demonstrations, participants gained a stronger framework for choosing the right Transform approach and simplifying complex logic in their workflows.

Product Roadmap

RIVUE closed with a look at the Rapid Insight product roadmap, highlighting recent enhancements and what’s coming next. The team reviewed key 2025 improvements:

• Enhanced Transform validation
• Usability upgrades like undo/redo after saving
• Expanded node flexibility

We also previewed 2026 developments focused on efficiency, connectivity, and scale. Upcoming enhancements include improved workspace and connection management, expanded automation capabilities, and deeper integration with Edify to streamline the path from data preparation to governed reporting. Together, these updates reinforce Rapid Insight’s commitment to making advanced analytics more intuitive, powerful, and accessible for institutions at every stage of maturity.
